This is a good little safe for the price. As with anything electronic, I always like have a key backup feature in case of malfunction.

Thought of you yesterday Augie. Got an email from a LGS saying they had ammo in. More than happy to sell me 50 rounds Blazer 9mm and a couple other similar brands at $20 a box. I didn't blaze a trail to Charlotte to buy any.

I like that safe and am looking at similar models! Right now $20 box ammo is my reality. If I'm lucky I find it for $17. Being new to guns I got no stockpile. I WILL stockpile if the prices ever go down, for now I am scrambling to just find weekly practice rounds.

Holy Smokes!!!! I found ammo local at Field & Stream! First time in 6 weeks of checking every now and then. I just check if it's convenient and close to when the store opens. Never really able to figure out when truck arrives or anything like that. There was no box limit on purchase either. I bought 6 and left a did dozen for my fellow pew pew peeps!

So far I've paid from .35 to .50 round for FMJ. For defensive ammo I paid $1 round. I know that's not cheap compared to 6 months ago, but it's my reality and I'm looking forward to loading up if/when prices drop.

I'm gonna head to same big box retailer same day and time next week and see if they have new stock!

Practice using that short trigger reset on the Glock for follow up shots. Squeeze the trigger and hold. Barely let it out until you feel it reengage and then aim and fire your second round. It will be a little awkward at first, but it will improve your accuracy.

I'm gonna work on that Stank! I'm hitting the range 2x this week, cause Nov is approaching. I wanna work on racking too, cause last range session I failed miserably in getting a round in the chamber Sad. Not pulling slide back far enough me thinks. I need to gain an appreciation of that trigger!!!!

One thing I discovered is to NOT wear contacts when I shoot. I wear them for distance, but then I can't see sights cause I don't have my bifocals on. Old guy problems.
