Btw, used a new yeast for the BdG, Gulo. It's a hybrid of Saison and Irish ale. Took the gravity down to 1.003 without Belgian esters.

Celebrating a bit after a nice 100 yard prone smallbore rifle target today.

Alternating between Voldka w/seltzer and Grapefruit and home brewed Arrogant Bastard Clone.

The only downside to my move here - competitive shooting. There are free state ranges nearby, pistol ranges very close. But no Bullseye Leagues. Nice shooting!

Mammoth Lager. An homage to my early days with Carlsberg Elephant. Very good beer, you'd never know it was 9% until it's too late!

Belgian Tripel. I really simplified the Liquid Stupid recipe and much prefer this. Still high in abv at 10% but not as sweet as the LS. I also now use dry Abbaye yeast. So convenient.

You can never carry too much ammo, unless you are swimming or on fire.
