Brewing tomorrow
#31
I brewed an ipa yesterday (10 gal) with 16lbs dme, 2lbs steeped 10l crystal and hop schedule of 8oz Simcoe @60, 1.3oz Citra @30,20 and 10min. Finished with 1oz cascade at flame out. 1056 ale liquid yeast.

Plan to add some mango extract to the fermenter next week and keg it in 3 weeks.

Next week I'll do my usual arrogant bastard clone on top of the primary fermentation remains of the ipa.

Damn, lots of early hops. I now typically use 1-2 ounces at 30. Sometimes an ounce  at 5. But the majority of my hops now are at WP and DH.

I brewed a Kveik IPA yesterday with Lotus and Mackinac hops. It's currently fermenting at 97° and the gravity dropped from 1.070 to 1.032 overnight. I will lower my magnetized dry hop bag after fermentation is completed and it's chilled down a bit.

IPA in the primary fermenter about to be transferred to secondary and my Arrogant Bastard clone now in the kettle will get dropped on the primary remains of the IPA.

Kegged it yesterday. I have more brewing though, I still have 3 open taps.

Looking to brew a Lithuanian Farmhouse Ale tomorrow. Just weighed and crushed grain (pale malt and rye).

After a slow start, fermentation is now rolling hard!

Weighed out grain for tomorrow or next. Unusual for me, I'm going to do an English Ale. Stronger than most English Ales but I require +6.5% for all of my brews.
