Ya'll see the video from yesterday of a LEO do an entire mag dump to the back of his cruiser with a detained person in the back of it?

LEO had an acorn fall from a tree to the hood of a car and he somehow thought the detained guy fired a silenced round at him. It's pretty brutal to watch.

Jesus. I hope the poor bastard survived.

I saw it, he didn't get hit.
Check out Dr Todd Grande analyzing it on YT... as always he hilariously breaks it down.

Did the cop get fired for awful marksmanship?

I did some reloading yesterday for the first time in years. Even though I have quite a bit of components in stock, I took a look at current prices for the hell of it.  Geez, wtf?  Everything seems about triple in price since my last purchases. $279 for 8# of  Vihtavuori and $359 for Alliant 2400!!!! Insane!

Actually, looking over prices more deeply, I'd guess 4x the prices I last paid is more accurate.  At least I really loaded up on powder, primers, and bullets back when I lived in NY and I was shooting almost daily.

Florida. Figures...

That dude's deadpan delivery is fucking hilarious. "Historically, acorns have been recognized as being non violent and typically do not carry weapons. Not surprisingly they have a very low rate of negative interactions with law enforcement."

I got domed in the head by a falling walnut once. That fucking hurt. Didn't mag dump though.

I think I'm most disgusted that both deputies had red dot sights and couldn't hit a fucking thing at that range. Good thing for that poor bastard in the cruiser.

I loaded up 100 rounds for my Mosin PU today. Reduced loads - 200g cast bullet with 18.2g of 2400 powder. Very accurate round.

More reloading today. I had a great time at the range last week with my friend. Unfortunately, I didn't mention to my wife that I was bringing her. It didn't end well for me.

I bought 400 cases of Lapua 7.62x53 brass yesterday. I don't really need it at this time but it was a good deal ($101/100 cases). I'm good on brass now until I'm dead.

I'm no bdutton but I took my M28/76 (Finnish Mosin) to the range today. Just 20 shots at 100 yards. The load is dialed in good but I would have played with the scope a bit if I had more time.

Mosins are weird. They're either semi tack drivers or pray you hit the target.

Shot some 200g cast "boolits" out of my 44 Tula PU yesterday. Low recoil, you could shoot these all day.
